Fan-made genre online games

Can you recommend any good/amusing/simple fan-made online games based on genre franchises such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Lost, '80s Transformers/GI Joe, etc?

I'm thinking of run-and-shoot sidescrollers (like this Great Gatsby game), puzzle stuff like the old LucasArts Desktop Adventures, quick mini-games like the Wario Ware series, or even parodies of old '80s games that just have the sprites swapped out.

Portal: The Flash Version

Super Mario Crossover - play Mario using the characters and abilities from other classic games

There are also some great downloadable fan projects:

Halo: Zero - a side-scrolling Halo shooter

Super Mario Bros. X - the ultimate Mario/Nintendo fan game, discussed on Mefi previously. The main website for it appears to have removed the game, but you can download it here.

Have you tried any of the Lego game series? They have Indiana Jones, Star Wars and Batman amongst others. The best part is that they are surprisingly fun.

Sierra had the Space Quest series, and then if you like that you can go on to King's Quest, Police Quest, Quest for Glory, Laura Bow (a detective series), Leisure Suit Larry (not suitable for under age 18s), etc...
