What is the title, author, and complete text of a poem that starts with the phrase "October swings from moon to moon"?

I believe it is a "gypsy" poem and the title may be "Romany Road". Google reveals nothing.

I, too, have searched my university library databases to no avail. As a last resort, you might contact Ian Hancock at the University of Texas. He's an international scholar of the Romani people, as well as being a very distinguished member of that community.
