Are there any online databases that hold older European papers?
I'm looking for Italian press coverage (newspaper and print media) of the death in 1994 of Brazilian racing driver
Ayrton Senna who was killed in a crash in the San Marino Grande Prix.
I've got access to Proquest, but nothing European. I'm ideally looking for scanned images, not just text.

Response by poster: Wow! Thanks--La Stampa is way cool! I know you tried to link to a story (didn't take) but when I search, the scanned pages load. That's the coolest newspaper site I've ever seen!
