What is the current status of the Youth International Party? (No, I don't mean what can be found via Google.) Who if anyone would need be involved in reviving that group under that name? I am not looking for speculation here, but actual contacts.

But Google/wikipedia does seem to have the names and contact info. Yippies in the 2000's and the Yippie Cafe/Museum lists 6 people, all on the board of directors for the Cafe/Museum in San Francisco (website). Who would know more about Yippies than Yippies who own a Yippie Museum?

Hi Ardiril & K.P. I am one of the original Yippies. You can check out my website at www.yippiegirl.com. Among the Yippies, everyone is her or his own leader so you can just go ahead and revive your own Yippie group if you want to. Right now I know of two Yippie plays -- one in New York and the other in Vancouver BC. They're both on Facebook. The Yippie Museum is also in New York City not SF. As the Yippies used to say, way before Nike -- just Do It!
