In Los Angeles (Redondo) for a few days. Any suggestions for the best place(s) to purchase Lowepro/Pelican camera cases/Lastolite panels etc ?

Paul's Photo is reasonably close to Redondo. I haven't price shopped them if that's your main concern, but they probably have a fairly large selection if you were concerned about finding the right bag.

There might be a place closer to Redondo, but I'm certain there's a large selection of camera gear at Bel Air Camera in Westwood (near the UCLA campus).

Maybe Fry's in Redondo Beach?

Check out Samy's Camera online, they have a large selection and a location in Venice and in Costa Mesa, maybe even closer to you that I don't know about.

Samy's is great. Since you have already traveled so far to get here, you might as well go up to Hollywood and visit Studio Depot or Filmtools in Burbank. They have large showrooms filled with film and still gear, cool stuff and goodies you didn't even know you needed!

Response by poster: Checked out Paul's so far - pretty good range and prices. Will try and get to the some of the others. Many thanks everyone :-)
