Any Android phone root mods or hacks?

LG Optimus V user here... My phone runs Android and I've rooted it and have gotten rid of some of the bloatware that was on it. Do any of you know any really good root hacks, mods, or other cool things you can do with a rooted Android phone?
Titanium Backup allows you to save copies of apps, app settings, and your data onto your SD card.

SetCPU allows you to overclock if you have a compatible kernel.
RootExplorer is a file manager that lets you mount /system as R/W, which is a huge timesaver if you mess around with stuff in there, even if you have adb up and running.

+1 for Wireless Tether. One cool thing I've found is the ability to move apps to SD card from phone internal memory. This helps with huge apps on my old (!) Hero.

Well root apps allow you to block ads in apps. I believe there are adblock apps in the market
Overclocking and underclocking profiles using a kernel can give you power when you use your phone, and battery savings when it's in your pocket.. using Setcpu or a similar program.
you can asign apps to use hardware buttons, so long pressing on your search key, for example brings up an app of your choice.
