TiVo to iPad via Mac?

Has anyone copied TiVo's recorded shows to their Mac and, if so, how?
One of the reasons we switched to TiVo is to be able to view recorded shows on other devices, and TiVo gives the steps to do this on a PC but is more general when it comes to Mac. We have an Airport network via Time Capsule and I can't figure out whether to connect the TiVo to it wired (via Ethernet) or wirelessly, which is better and whether I need an ethernet to USB cable or if I can just go from the Time Capsule's ethernet ports to the TiVo. That's what I'm doing presently but the TiVo is not automatically on the same network. If wired is best and this configuration is okay how do I get the TiVo on board?

Here's the how-to from Tivo's site. I tried it once, and it took forever. But it did work.

Oh -- I guess I didn't read your question thoroughly enough. It'll work over wifi, but like I said, it takes forever. And on a Mac, you just need the Roxio software. There might be a free alternative, but I used the official Roxio thing.

Response by poster: I forgot about the Roxio feature, thanks spilon. We're using the Premiere XL.

Best answer: There are a couple of other options that are worth noting TiVo Butler and OutOfBox

Also check out kmttg. I use it on my PC (it's Java, though, and runs on Mac too) and it handles the downloading and decrypting just fine.
