Want: Not Dickhead Nor Snakehead but Nailhead

Lost my beloved Mountain Hardwear Nailhead Pullover. Desperately want/need another one. But it was discontinued 3 years ago.

I left my favorite article of clothing somewhere two nights ago. I'm going through withdrawal. Mountain Hardwear discontinued this item in 2008. I've checked e-bay with no results , though a used one was sold in Singapore a month ago. I'm looking for a large in black or stone but will settle for anything. Any ideas?

If you can't find pullover, arcteryx makes a pretty amazing pullover.

Response by poster: Sorry, good try, but I need a Nailhead, nothing else will do.

I've had success buying discontinued clothing on eBay by biding my time and waiting for the right item to come up.

Have you tried posting a wanted ad on Craigslist in your locality?

Is this the same thing?

(Oh, sorry, looks like that's a defunct listing too.)

OK, what about this? A size too large and it doesn't specify Nailhead, but the construction looks similar to the Nailhead in the photo you linked to.

Best answer: If you Google "Polartec® Thermal Pro®" there are many options available that sound just like the characteristics of the (very awesome) shirt you are sadly grieving over. Have you called the hotline listed on the site to find out who their distributors are? You could call some of them and see if they have any leftover inventory available.

The best answer probably is to set an eBay alert for all the possible things it might be listed under and just keep checking.
