What do athletes put under braces (tennis elbow brace) to prevent them from slipping?

I have a neoprene tennis elbow brace that I like to wear just tight enough to stay in place. I use a neoprene one so that it will expand with my forearm when I grip with my hand. When I flex my elbow I find the brace can slip out of place and I end up tightening the brace to keep it in place which ends up aggravating the condition.
I am positive there is something that I can put under the brace that is also stretchy and breathable that will grip that neoprene, I just don't know what it is. Be it a sleeve or a medical wrap or what have you. Googling has failed me.

You could use Vet Wrap or something like that. It's rubbery and stretchy so I bet the neoprene would stick. Don't be put off by the fact that it's sold for animals, I know lots of people who use it on themselves too.

disclaimer, I am affiliated with that particular brand

Response by poster: Thanks, after doing some experimenting I am going to go with a sleeve under my neoprene strap.
