Is there a way in Firefox to make multiple tabs open up with searches from both LibX and online book stores?

I basically want to cut down on time from swapping search engines in the Firefox browser while making the browser open multiple book-specific sites in different tabs.

For example, I spot a book on the Internet. I highlight the book's name or author, click the right mouse button, and it'll give me a LibX context menu to search my local library. I can also use the context menu to search on a specific book site (amazon, book depository, powells, etc). But I want to be able to open all these searches at once, rather than having to swap in between each of them.

Is there a way to do this?

sounds like you want a greasemonkey script. here are a few you can check out, and try to modify to suit your needs:
  • Google Bump. despite the name looks like you can use to add a variety of other search engines that get triggered when you execute a search on google.
  • Try This Search On. offer links that'll do searches on other search engines from a google search results page.
