Stripped Down Logos

A few weeks before Starbucks revealed its new logo, I stumbled across a website that provided several examples of famous logos that had been similarly stripped down... I think this was merely an exercise by a graphic designer. Anyone know the link to this page?

Corporations stripping down or simplifying their logos seems to be a trend, a la Seattle Best Coffee and now Starbucks. Alas, this piece almost seemed prophetic in what Starbucks, possibly the most recognizable brick and mortar logo next the the Golden Arches.

Alas, just hoping to find this one particular page that showed before and after pics of logos stripped down (along with "in between" images showing the process).

I heard Martin Lindstrom speak at a conference about this sort of thing last year. He likes to say Smash Your Brand. He had some interesting graphics along with his presentation showing how recognizable brands like McDs and Marlboro could be just based on colors and juxtaposition.
