What's the best way to learn the ins and outs of Adobe Lightroom 3?
I'm looking for recommendations of books, YouTube videos, websites, classes, etc. Please tell me why you thinking your suggestion is the best way to become proficient in Lightroom.
Thank you!

Using it - frequently - has always been my favorite way of learning a program.
That said, if you want to pick up a book to work through the program, I recommend the Lightroom 3 book by Nathanial Coalson (linked to Amazon).
The nice thing about Lightroom - in the develop panel, all changes are non-destructive. So, play around with the settings and sliders to your heart's content. You can always undo!

I like the Scott Kelby books. He also has online tutorials which i've found helpful.

Kelby's book, hands down. He goes through his general workflow, conversions, when to bring in full photoshop, what each option does, and more. LRKT has its place as well, but I live and die with Kelby.

I also recommend searching on twitter for "lightroom"--there are several accounts dedicated to aggregating hot tips and tricks.
The Lightroom subpage on Adobe.com also has some good tutorials.
