Any adult-use fireplace lighters out there?

I'm looking for one of those long fireplace/burner lighters without a !@#$% child-safety button. Or is there an easy way to disarm the damn thing?

I was expecting a question in the more raunchy novelty vein..
Anyhoo if a fire is worth doing its worth over doing:

One button, big flame, fire is lit. Works great on candles.

at the risk of being pegged irredeemably white trash - on a road trip out of arkansas we picked up a shotgun lighter with no child safety that we use to light our fireplace.

In 1876, Otto Bernz founded the Otto Bernz Co. in Newark, N.J. to sell plumbers’ tools, furnaces, and torches. The company was renamed BernzOmatic in 1940, and has since been recognized as a highly respected global brand, focusing on manufacturing and marketing best-in-class hand held torches and accessories for professionals and consumers.

All this time I thought the company was named BernzOmatic because, hey, it's an awesome name for a company that makes blowtorches.

Maybe not what you have in mind, but I'm a sucker for a box of fireplace matches.

Saw those the other day at Tractor Supply Company.

Response by poster: Nadawi: That shotgun lighter is strangely appealing. And how perfect that it doesn't have the safety lock!

Response by poster: Turns out that the Europeans have 'em. A family member in England has kindly offered to send several. Thanks for the ideas everyone!
