Do they make electric blankets or electric mattress pads in full size with dual controls?
Yes, I know I've seen them at Zellers and the like.

Best answer: Usually the dual controls are only on the queen or larger sizes from what I've seen. A quick Google search shows one dual control full mattress pad, though I've never used that one and can't speak for its quality. I would think that there would be a fair amount of "crossover" in a full sized bed between the two heating zones.

There is no reason not to buy a queen sized blanket for a full-sized bed, especially if there are 2 people using it, and a dual-control queen-sized electric blanket should be relatively easy to find.

Response by poster: @fire&wings: Are they? I can't find one anywhere. Almost everywhere I look dual controls are only on the queen and king.
@zachlipton: Thanks for the link.
@brainmouse: Our backup plan is to buy a queen sized blanket, but we're prefer to get a full size.

I have what I think is a queen sized heated mattress pad w/ dual controls on my full sized mattress and it's fine. A little baggy but not too tough to just tuck it in tightly. I can't speak to your larger question, but this set up is working fine for me.
