Best electric guitar resources?

What are some of the best resources on the electric guitar? Any medium is welcome: books, videos, articles, etc. Money is not an issue; if there's a really good reference that costs thousands of dollars, I'd like to know about it. Collectively, I'd like these resources to cover everything a professional electric guitarist would need to know, from technique (basic and advanced) to related tech (amps, effects units, etc.) to guitar maintenance. Thank you!

The resource I use most often for tabs, tips, and whatever is Ultimate Guitar. It's also the site most often linked to me when people send me guitar related things. I've also found that guitar related magazines usually have neat things in them, just look for them wherever you can buy books and magazines and scan the cover. The cover should tell you just about everything that's in that month's issue.

Previously, and I'd endorse the recommendation in that thread for Justin Sandercoe's site, not least because he's been working on a new intermediate course which should start going up in the next few weeks. For tabs, Chordie (previously).

Not so much technique, but I usually check out The Gear Page.

While there is a section for technique discussion, it definitely takes a backseat to all of the gear talk, guitars, amps, effects. There is a very active buy/sell area. These folks buy and sell ALOT. There are probably a few dozen people on there who have a few dozen of the same guitar.

So yeah, everything about the gear side of things, old and new, cheap and expensive. Totally comprehensive.
