Is Marmite's new chocolate bar being sold anywhere in the U.S.? Bonus points if you know of any retailers in the DC metro area.
Response by poster: No dice on British Goodies, but that was a great suggestion - they'll be getting some in January. The holiday hunt continues, though :)

It's available on ebay.co.uk, maybe you could get one of the sellers to ship internationally?

You might try The British Pantry (shops in Aldie and Alexandria).

Mod note: The question is "where", folks, not "would you like to eat it".

Response by poster: No luck at The British Pantry or Biagio, either - but also great suggestions, and places that I wasn't aware of.

See if British Foods & More in Frederick, MD has it.
How much are you looking for, and by what date? I've got a relative coming over soon.

I haven't seen a Marmite chocolate bar (and it's not showing up on their site), but I know World Market carries both Marmite and fancy chocolate. There are several in the area.

I'm going to be going to England on the 15th, back on the 28th if you want a chocolate mule. Can't wait to try one.

Response by poster: Thanks, nicktf - this was for a (admittedly long shot) last minute Hanukkah present, though :)

Ugh. If you like, I can find some and send it over. Grudgingly. I can't think of anything worse. Brrr. Memail me if you like.

If they're still available when we're in England for the holidays, I'll get one for you!

Response by poster: Thanks all - I've decided to hold off and find some for a birthday gift in the spring, once the Marmite chocolate wave has finally washed over the US. I appreciate your suggestions!

Biagio is now saturated with Marmite chocolate phone inquiries and are at their wit's end trying to locate it. In the meantime, they're happy to sell you some of Artisan du Chocolat's tobacco chocolate bars.
