Recommendation on adult tricycle or other cargo carrier?

Looking for suggestions for a human powered "cargo carrier" to haul a bunch of gear to the pool this summer.
We've been using a baby stroller to haul our daughter and all our pool gear, books, snacks, clothes, etc. the half mile over level streets to the local pool. Now daughter is too big for stroller, and stroller is worn out. Any recommendations on a new "hauler?" One idea is an adult tricycle with big basket on back, or of course some kind of luggage with wheels. Any suggestions on the tricycle or other ideas?

How about an Xtracycle? Here goes adult trikes with the Worksman a top choice.

Numerous possibilities.
The brox seems like the most extreme solution.
A trailer, like the Bob. This would be your most accessible option.
Something like a Longjohn or equivalent
Center for Appropriate Transport has some interesting cargo bikes/trikes.
