FSBO home sales on the web

My friend is selling her home on a by-owner basis ("FSBO", i.e., not using a realtor) and is pondering listing it with online FSBO sites. Good idea? Bad idea? Better ideas?

There are a number of sites that offer the ability to list your home for sale (example). Some charge a fair amount, not not so much, some are free. I can't tell if any of them are effective, if they're honest, etc. Anyone have any experience with this that you could share? (Also, any suggestions for other ways to get the word out would be great--this is a fairly urgent matter. You don't need to suggest listing it with a realtor--she already is aware of that option.)
