Mechanics in Chicago?

Does anyone know of a good mechanic in Chicago?
We're looking at a car today that we'd like to buy and have been told we should have a mechanic look at it, but we're new to Chicago and don't know of anyone. Any suggestions?

Haven't checked that CarTalk link, but my own personal recommendation is 3 Brothers Auto Repair. The owner's name is Joe, he's totally honest and fast and does EXCELLENT work..
