Open source space-shooter, 3d exploration MMO? Recently released?

I can't remember if I saw it on the blue or on reddit, but it was a kind of psychedelic shooter exploration thing set in space. Anybody know what I'm talking about? I think I saw this released two or three days ago. There were like, giant amorphous squids made out of laser beams and the whole thing was pretty weird.

I've seen this make the blog rounds now that it's more than just a tech demo and the words psychadelic and squid (or alternately, jelly fish) have come up. Here it is on steam.
