Do they make double bolster pillows?

Where can I get an extra-long bolster pillow to fit on my full-sized bed?

I love those bolster-style reading pillows with arms. I grew up with them, and used them all through college and living on my own.

THIS is the kind of pillow I'm talking about, often found at your local Bed Bath & Beyond.

But now I'm living with another human being with whom I share a bed, and having one isn't comfy. Do they make "double" ones?

Of course, all the local bed/bath/beyond shops don't have double ones that'll fit across a full sized bed. Am I searching online for the wrong term? (I've always called them "bolsters.") Help me have a good night's sleep after a good book again!

I don't know if they make double-wides, but they're not called bolsters -- those are the small cylindrical pillow. You might have more luck with "bedrest pillow", though they're also sometimes called boyfriend or husband pillows.

This site appears to sell bed lounge pillows with narrower/more flexible arms than the standard ones so that they squeeze together better. And have ties (?) so the stay in place (?).

Agreed that you'll have better luck with better search terms. I have heard this kind of pillow called a bed rest pillow, a lounge pillow, a bed lounge pillow, and a tv pillow.

Personally, I find this problem is best solved with a lot of strategically placed standard bed pillows.

I call these reading pillows. Do you mean that you want one that has only two arms (one arm for you, one for your significant other)? When you google for "reading pillows" some alternate shapes turn up in the images results (along with the photo you linked to), which may offer alternatives because you can get two and put them together, if needed (because they don't have arms at all). For example, a triangular shape, a wedge shape, a wedge shape with a cylinder at top.

I've always heard of those referred to as a husband (or boyfriend) pillow.

Google responds well when you call them a "bed rest pillow"

Might I suggest, however, that you get a combination of specialty pillows and assemble your own? This way you can wash the covers and even the pillows themselves, and adjust them individually.

My very favorite pillow manufacturer is The Company Store. You could get two Medium Reading Wedges and a couple neckrolls (on that same page).
