Video of high-def photo-overlay technology

Looking for a video of a technology demo, which uses high-def photos to add details to video by intelligently overlaying the photo on the video and deforming the photos as the video moves. I vaguely recall it as being TED-talk-like, with shots of a (young, possibly Asian?) guy at a podium and shots of the video in action. My google-fu is failing me.
The only Ted talk I can think of that sounds anything like what you're describing is the Photosynch one.
