Anyone know of a decent software soultion for my Hauppauge USB tv card and my new Mac mini please?

There is a quite a lot going on in the world of Mac TV with the release of the Mini. This may be more than you need to know but these links should get you on the way and may take you further:

It's a Win-TV usb, so not sure if it will work!

If it's the USB 1.1 version you should be able to use the MyTV software, which is the same product in Mac packaging sold by a Hauppauge subsidiary.

(It might also work with the USBVision software, which is better written but can't control the tuner, although the one I had didn't work at all with it)
