Find a once-glimpsed photo of a little girl walking a lion.

I remember seeing a photograph of a young girl, perhaps 3 or 4 years old, walking a lion on a chain leash. I saw this in a book on Surrealism at a book fair in Avignon, France. Can you help me find the picture again and identify its creator?
Googling for lion+girl+other identifying details, hasn't helped. This is a mock-up of what I remember the picture looking like. The picture was in black and white, but I'm not sure if that was because the book was monochrome or the picture itself was. I saw it in 2000 or 2001, but I'm confident that the photo was from early in the 20th century - I think it was showing inspiration for the Surrealists.
Thanks.

Response by poster: Jschu, are you maybe thinking of this? It's not what I'm looking for. The photo I saw matched the orientation in my mock-up, that is both the lion and the girl were facing forward. Thanks for the french suggestion, though, I started searching Google using the same terms in French. It seems more hopeful although I still haven't found the exact picture.
