Im looking for good Karaoke in Melbourne, can you help?

I'd like to bring a group somewhere that has a good range of old and news songs, any ideas?

I've been to Chi Lounge with a group of four; we had a private room and a ton of fun, and the price was absolutely fair. This was two years ago or so, perhaps it's changed since then.

Another option is to check out what Google Maps has to say.

I can't vouch for it, but there's a KTV at Melbourne Central off of Swanston close to RMIT. KTV is ubiquitous in China and known for excellent Karaoke. No idea what the music selection will be like but I'd expect it to be fun, if full of current Asia hits.
