ADHD Specialists in New York

Can you recommend ADHD specialist psychiatrists in New York that are not at the Hallowell Center?

Currently, my physician, a family doctor who does not specialize in ADHD, prescribes my ADHD meds, but we are fast getting out of her comfort zone, and my needs are still changing. I'm hoping to find someone who is in network for my insurance plan (Aetna). Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

I can't recommend someone specific, but the search function at Psychology Today might be able to help you find a psychiatrist. You might have to call a few to see if they take your insurance, but at least this can help you narrow down the search a bit.

Could you call the Hallowell Center and ask for a referral to someone within your coverage?
