Withdrawal.

I'm in Beijing and my trusty VPN, Hotspot Shield, has not been connecting since May 17th. Is anyone else having this problem? It just will not connect and assign an IP. I am on a Mac using Snow Leopard, HS Shield Version 1.341. I need Facebook and Youtube!

In my experience, the free VPNs will be frequently but inconsistently blocked by the Great Firewall, especially when there is something sensitive happening. After going through many of them, in the end I just shelled out the money for a paid VPN, Witopia, and it's been worth it.
