What are some non-English word games? I was playing Scrabble in Asia and wondered if there are similar games in languages that don't use the Latin alphabet.

I've seen International (including Arabic, diacritics and digraphs) Scrabble but I want to learn about different games.

Shiritori? Very popular among Japanese kids, and adults who want said kids to keep relatively quiet for a while.

There is a Korean version of this game as well.

Arabic Scrabble ["Skarâbil"] is pretty poor, actually: none of the words look right, since they're all done with stand-alone letters rather than connected ones. But I'll be watching this thread to see if any decent alternatives come up...
