Amazon book sales tracking...

Amazon book sales tracking: are there any sales rank trackers that break down amazon sales by geographic location, not just countries but specific regions, i.e. states, zip codes, etc.?

Best answer: Amazon places great value on that type of information and isn't likely to publicly share that information at any price. Although Amazon does share some sell-through data with syndicated research companies but not at that level of granularity. Having worked with on projects with Amazon in other categories, I've learned that at least in my category the geographic buying patterns match that of brick and mortar retailers.

Also remember that Amazon is currently fighting several states over collecting income tax and having that data public would be very bad for their efforts to keep from collecting income tax in states where they don't currently do so.
