Can you help identify this watch?

What watch brand is this? (Black, clean, minimal design. Red dot on the face)
I saw someone wearing this watch on an elevator the other day. It completely caught my eye but I was too shy to ask the brand of the watch or anything like that. I made a little sketch of what the face looked like here.
Any help would be great! I looked thru the Nixon brand website (bc that's what I thought it was originally) but I didn't see the same.

Was it perhaps the Equilibrium? It says "Buy me, wear me to an Interpol concert!"

My first thought was an Alessi watch (such as their tanto x cambiare), but their watches lack the red dot.
The red dot could be a solid feature on the black face, or it could be on the end of the sweeping minute hand.

Also came here to say Mondaine, but not the one that was linked above. Their most iconic design has a large red circle on the second hand, and they offer a version with a black face.
Link.

...on the end of the sweeping minute hand.
*sweeping second hand* -- as per shadow vector.

I swear I saw this watch in a Flax art store catalog back in the 1990s. Alas, they do not seem to have an online catalog.
A lot of browsing hasn't quite brought it up. I got close with some Alessi models, but not quite.

Along the lines of a Mondaine, there's also Ollech & Waj's Pilot 3095 with a red dot on the end of second hand.

What kind of wristband did it have? Was it metal, leather, or some other material? What color was the wristband?
My first thought is that it was a Swatch, second was that it's something from the MOMA store. Knowing that watch designs are constantly changing, there might be a chance that it is an older design that you can't really find in stores now.

I'm thirding Mondaine. (watch hound here), and I think your placement of the red dot would indicate that it is at the end of one of the hands.
