Vegetarian pu-pu platter suggestions?

I have a monkey wood server with a mini-hibachi in the center over which one can toast (grilling is probably a stretch) small edibles. Can you suggest any vegetarian, Polynesian-style appetizers that would enable my guests to have fun with fire?

Best answer: Amen to the pineapple; fresh not canned
Marinated firm tofu
Zucchini wedges
Toasted pita squares

I know you mention hot snacks, but a side platter of Inari sushi is a crowd pleaser, most definitely.

Marinated portabella mushroom strips would be good. Another option would be marinated chicken-style seitan.

Eggplant is a traditional veggie grilling option. I find it best with a marinade though.

baby samosas!
pakoras
broccoli florets (marinated in something yummy)
cheese cubes (something firm enough to resist melting. haloumi?)
grilled brussels sprouts
falafel balls
jalapeƱo poppers
Chinese vegetable potstickets
mushroom-inside-croissant-dough-thingies (no idea what these are actually called, but oh my God nom nom nom)

disclaimer: I have never prepared a pupu platter. I am just a hungry vegetarian dude on the Internet.
