Dear hive, are you by any chance aware of ravelry-style(ish) social networking spaces for embroiderers/cross-stitchers?

I've seen this question http://ask.metafilter.com/128829/Specific-social-networking and I know of etsy, but neither of these are exactly what I'm after and my google-fu is failing me - I know places to find patterns and stuff, but I also want to be able to find like-minded folk to cross-stitch with! Kind of like Stitch and Bitch but with needles, ideally UK-based.

The Hand Embroidery Network has tutorials, forums, patterns, etc.

Craftster has a needlework forum that encompasses embroidery and cross-stitch. The forum offers discussion, stitch-alongs, and a place to show off projects.
