Find me a buffet!

Does anyone know of any "American food" type buffets in Seattle?

Asking on behalf of a picky 10 year old, for a birthday dinner, and chinese and indian the like, no matter how much I like it, won't fly.

Way back when, there was Zoopa at Northgate. Does anyone know of similar? Preferably near the north end but we're willing to travel.

Pretty sure there's still a Zoopa in Tukwila.

Yeah there's a Zoopa at Southcenter, at the other end of the Target parking lot.

There's all sorts of Old Country Buffet type stuff around too. Wouldn't recommend it personally, but as a kid I thought it was evidence of God.

You might post a query on the Chowhound Seattle board.

If you go further north to Marysville you will find a Golden Corral which is a huge American (lots of meat!) buffet.
