Where to buy BULK? (Online mostly)
Hello all!
I just bought 5 lb.s of peanut butter, now I need a complementary jam or jelly to go with it. I haven't been able to find ANYTHING online that is available for the public to buy. I like Smuckers 8 lb. red raspberry preserves, but you can only buy though brokers.
I would love some online resources for this kind of hard to find Bulk item. Any ideas?
Thanks everyone!.

Here's raspberry jam in a big tub. I don't know anything about this place, I just wanted to let you know that the magic googleword seems to be "tub".

Talk to the manager at a store - or deli - that has jelly you like. Many food distributors sell in sizes much larger than what you see on the shelf at the grocery store, and whoever does the ordering might be able to find you something (whether they'll be willing to is another question).
(Sometimes you might only be able to get more than what you're bargaining for, which is probably part of the reason it's hard to find. Poking around on one of the distributors my store orders from, it seems like the closest thing you'd be able to get from them would be a case of four 9.9 LB buckets of strawberry - or mango, passion fruit, kiwi or pineapple - jam! That's a lot of jam).

Oh, and another keyword that might be helpful: "food service" (the category those huge tubs of jam are usually marketed to).

Here's an Amazon listing for a 15 lbs tub.
Might also want to try a Smart and Final if you have one nearby. The sizes of some of the things they sell there is almost obscene.
