Help me clone my jeans!
March 16, 2010 1:55 PM

My favorite discontinued jeans are about to die. Help me find a place to clone them.

I've had a pair of jeans for a couple of years that are the best fitting jeans I've ever owned. The style was discontinued by the manufacturer and they're nowhere to be found. I've tried ebay but I'm not getting anywhere with this style, which has been out of commission for a couple of years already.

I'd like to find a place online that I can send my jeans to, to have them cloned. There are a couple of sites I've found that will make custom jeans to my measurements, but that's not what I want: I want to literally put my jeans in the mail, and receive back a new pair with the exact same cut and fit.

Google has failed me. Can you help?

The problem you are going to have is that jeans age with your body over time. The way the jeans fit now is not how they fit when you bought them. If your looking for a pair of well fitting jeans, I recommend Nudie. They fit to you.

I think this is exactly what you want.

I've ordered tailored jeans from the company and had a good experience, but never done the cloning, so I can't vouch for that.
