(Plastic molding[?] filter) What exactly would you call the stuff in this picture, if you were trying to buy some more online?
I'm looking for the most likely manufacturer's term for these plastic strips, especially the black U-shaped one, which is quite stiff, to be used as an edge-clamping device, with the white piece as a shim/filler/tightener, so that one could be lots of things. I figure once I have the names, I can search out some sources and see about specifying dimensions… Don't need much (a few linear feet per order); they're for a home project. Thanks!

Do you live near a TAP Plastics? I'd bring in a sample and see what they say.

I've found Johnson Plastics to be very helpful in finding things like this. Just email them a picture with the sizes you need and they will send a quote. Sublimation is the word I think you are looking for.

Not exactly the same, but looks similar to auto door trim. Gets fairly soft when you heat it up and hardens nicely.

The black version looks like Plastic U-channel.
(Disclaimer: I actually know nothing about plastic).
