Pocket Watch

Looking to purchase a handful of reasonably-priced ($100) pocket watches, but would like to see/check them out first, so am hesitant to use eBay. I really like old Molnija watches but I don't see anyway I could get a handful in the next couple of weeks. I also like the Swiss Army pocket watches but don't like that they are close to $200 and don't have plated covers. Where is a good place to go check out some pocket watches (western and central Pennsylvania if possible)? Are they even sold in stores or does one absolutely have to get something like that online? If finding such things in a short window (must be purchased in next week and a half) is going to be an incredibly low-probability event, then does the hive mind have suggestions for other interesting and semi-permanent gifts for men?
I bought a wonderful Skagen watch for like 50 bucks on.. um... it was either Amazon or Overstock. They're usually closer to $125 or so, and they're pretty common in stores, so if you can look for one in person and then check it out to get a deal online, go ahead. My partner loves it, and it works well in just about any situation.

Most jewelry stores that sell watches have a selection of pocket watches. Call a few jewelers.
My current (cheap) pocket watch is a Colibri. It's held up reasonably well for several years, though I did have to replace the chain.

I have a decent, inexpensive Colibri, but they went under last year. Even being in Rhode Island (heck, I even drive past the former factory when I leave my barber in Cranston!) I can't get service from them. :7(
When I bought my latest watch (November or so), I saw a few token pocket watches at the department stores I checked: JCPenney's, for example, as well as Macy's.

Do they have to be new? I've had good luck finding pocket watches at pawn shops in the past. They're usually far higher quality than anything modern you might buy in the > $100 range, as well.

I was thinking the same thing, with the substitution 'antique dealers' for 'pawn shops'.

Colibri went out of business? And this is how I find out?
