Please help me find the male fragrance that made me weak in the knees...

Recently, a male date was wearing a scent that just did it for me(and I'm not usually a cologne appreciating kind of person). I asked what it was, and I think he said Bulova, but can't find any fragrance by them. It sounded like Buluva. I have scanned through fragrances online and don't see anything with a name close to that. Please help!

You should be asking this question at basenotes.net.

Bulgari Black gets 5 votes in the "Which Scent Gets You The Most Female Compliments" thread.

All scents by Bulgari (or Bvlgari) in the link. They have seven fragrances for men, and five unisex fragrances, so it should be possible to narrow down your search if you remember a bit about the fragrance notes.

(Btw, if you find out what fragrance he was wearing, maybe you could post the answer here?)

Did he smell like a sexy old English professor? That's Bulgari Black.

Response by poster: Thank you everyone! I'm going to go smell Bvlgari fragrances, and if I figure it out, I will definitely post back.

Er, what does a "sexy old English professor" smell like?

Bulgari Black.

Wow, really? I would only expect a sexy old English professor to smell like Bulgari Black if s/he was dusted in baby powder, drinking Lapsang Souchong, and wearing a rubber catsuit.

(Don't get me wrong: I adore Bulgari Black. But to me it's a deeply weird fragrance, essentially fetishistic in its rubber/smoke/vanilla trinity, and not at all tweedy or academic.)

Sounds like someone's angling for extra credit, Otter.
