Where can I buy Solovair boots in the U.S.?

Oi! I was shopping for my first pair of Doc Marten boots when I read that they are now made in China and--nothing against China--the quality of the boots is not the same as it used to be.

I see that Solovair is a good British-made option, but I cannot seem to find a place in the U.S. that sells them. I'd rather not pay $35+ for shipping from the U.K.

Anyone know of a good online source for these boots? (or a shop in the Chicagoland area?)

{on a side note: If I do end up going with the Docs, help me clear up some confusion. I just want the traditional black 8 eyelet boots, the 1460s. But there are several shades of black! What is the standard? Black smooth? Black greasy?)

Thank you very much!

Dr. Marten's still make SOME boots in the UK. They cost more, but they look nice.
