Book filter: Kid's sci-fi, boy has to read to chicken brain in jar to make it smarter. Of course, it becomes evil.
I read this book at some point during the early 80's. The only details I'm sure of are that this boy has to take care of the chicken brain in the jar. I remember him reading to it to make it smarter. Google is fruitless. Hope me!
