What's the most iconic blue-jeans video ad?
Best answer: Brooke Shields, "You wanna know what comes between me and my Clavin's? Nothing"

(The launderette one. It's British, and it's the one everyone in Britain in their thirties or older will know.)

I think you've got your answer up top. So I'll just skip to the obscure. I always thought this animated one was the very coolest and so different from anything else. So happy youtube has preserved it for me.

Best answer: I always enjoyed the Jennifer Love Hewitt one.

I'd definitely call the Brooke Shields ad the most iconic, but I remember the Levi's "Tainted Love" ad being really popular in the mid-90s.
The naked butts looking for Lee jeans ad really stuck with me - I don't think it was ever shown in the US, but I remember it making the rounds on the internet several years back.

Not sure it's 'iconic' but the levis ad which refers to The Swimmer' is my favourite. Great images and great sounds.

I always remember the one with the girl staring at the house, and finally yelling "Travis, you're a year too late!" I think it was for Levis 501s.

Bugle Boy Jeans Ad
That was a big one in the late-'80s. But, I'd agree that the Brooke Shields Calvin Klein ad is the classic in the category.

I agree with everyone else who seconded Brooke Shields.
But after Brooke's commercial, the one that stuck with me the longest is the one with Andie MacDowell where she talks about her friends, Dot and Earl, in a slow Southern drawl.
That was my first exposure to Ms. MacDowell, and for the longest time, whenever I ran across her on TV or in movies, it was all I could do to get past hearing her in my head going on and on about Dot and Earl.
I looked, but I can't find this one on YT. :(

My favorite / most memorable ad of my childhood, that formed not only my view of jeans, but introduced me to exchange rates, and a magical place called Europe.

for me, Levi's commercials in the 90s were as cool as Nike's in the 80s...
i always liked the running one and i can't believe nobody mentioned the one with mr oizo's music and flat eric.
but there's the one with the blind man, the pharmacist's daughter, levi's engineered... i think levi's might be what made me love electronic music in the first place

Brooke's Calvins ad is by far the most iconic. But this one will always be my favorite for introducing me to the amazing voice of Ken Nordine.

Has nobody linked to the Wonderful World Levi's ad from 1986?
I still think of that ad every time I hear that song.

The one with the singing belly buttons certainly scarred me for life. Another, less scarring, but still memorable commercial is the Crazy Legs one.
