ScentFilter: I love the smell of Caress's Moroccan body wash. Help me find a similar scent in perfume form!
I love Caress's Moroccan body wash. I want to find something similar in a perfume form. Bonus points if I could recreate this smell (or have it recreated for me) with natural oils. I tend to like to keep my beauty/cosmetics items on the natural and healthy side.
As far as the scent goes, it's very exotic. It has a spicy, musky and yet sweet smell to it. The closest I've come is Jasmine Vanilla line from B&B Works - and that's still not remotely close in smell. But it has those exotic vibes to it.
Any suggestions?

Best answer: I swear I'm not just suggesting this because of the name. You might try BPAL's Morocco. The description says, "The intoxicating perfume of exotic incenses wafting on warm desert breezes. Arabian spices wind through a blend of warm musk, carnation, red sandalwood and cassia." It smells like there's some tonka bean in there that sweetens it up, too, a bit like vanilla.

Body Shop's Moroccan Rose is a more floral version of Careess's soap, if you are into something lighter. It's got a vanilla, musk, and rose base and is only slightly spicy/woodsy and more citrusy - which I find works better for more people's chemistry, and is more of an every-day scent. They have it in both an oil and spray perfume with all natural ingredients. It's also pretty cheap, on par with the B&B line you mentioned. If I sound like I'm product pushing it's because I used to work there and fell in LOVE with this when they first released it as a Valentine's scent! So definitely sexy.

Best answer: Seconding BPAL's Morocco, which I find to be very similar. You might just want to do some shopping around on the BPAL website-- the notes of Caress' Morocco are to me predominantly musk, amber, and sandalwood. There should be a great number of scents with those components, you can use the search engine to list all the scents with those components, and then you can order small samples to try a few different ones!

Response by poster: I ordered a sample of BPAL's Morocco and I love it. It's close enough to what I was looking for. I'm going to test the sample out for a week or so, make sure I like it on me and then order a full size. Thank you all!
