But I've almost beat Peggle!...

Is there any way to transfer my high scores and achievements from the games on my 1st gen iPod Touch to my upcoming iPhone 3GS?

It's not really a big deal. Just curious. Both are staying locked, so don't even suggest unlocking.

I'm looking specificall at Rolando 1, Peggle, Azkend, SameGame, and Cartoon Wars.

Best answer: Per this Apple support article your iPod touch is backed up by iTunes each time you:
  • Sync with iTunes (automatically on the first sync, every time you connect it to the computer)
  • Update in iTunes (occurs automatically without prompting)
  • Restore in iTunes (prompts you to create a backup before the restore process begins)
All you have to do is make sure you setup your iPhone 3GS from the same computer as you sync your iPod touch. When you do you'll be offered the option of setting up the iPhone 3GS as a new phone, or restoring it from one of your iPod touch's backup.

Best answer: Yeah, you don't have to do anything special, everything is already backed up on the machine you are syncing from. Music, contacts, game settings, downloads -- the works.

And if by "almost beat peggle" you mean "stuck on the final challenge to get 400,000 points", good luck with that. :(

Response by poster: Wow. really? i thought it just synced what games and apps i had, not actual settings and progress. Awesome! thanks!

and cj... if you mean that crazy 750,000 point challenge, i beat it by pure luck. i can't beat the 10 levels in a row challenge...
