What is the best company formation agent to use in the UK?

What is the best company formation agent to use in the UK to form a limited company? How can I tell if a company formation agent is reliable and trustworthy and are there any reviews of them available? I would also prefer an "all in one solution" that includes a registered office too.

I would like to have a solution that includes a registered office and maintenance of statutory books and the annual return.

We're using Made Simple Group and can vouch for them.

Fast, cheap and they offer full registered office, etc. Best of all for myself - they will remind you of upcoming regulatory filings.

Don't they run Companies Made Simple (companiesmadesimple.com)?

I'm looking at their http://www.companiesmadesimple.com/platinumpackage.html at £119.99. I think it is worth the money.

Ha! They most certainly are one and the same! I didn't look at your link, to be honest, just wanted to recommend they service we were using.

Very happy. We're using the gold service, didn't hesitate to renew. Platinum looks even better value for money.

Thanks for your comments - they look even more promising now and they seem reputable from what I have heard. They were also recommended here a while back.
