Help me find new software as it gets released!

How do I keep up with the latest and greatest PC ,Mac and Linux freeware, shareware and trials, as they are released?

I'm looking for blogs and RSS feeds on this topic. I know of lifehacker, but I don't want to be restricted to the productivity field.
Also, I don't necessarily need full reviews.

Best answer: Freshmeat is a great choice for finding out about software of all kinds, for more than just Linux. For Macintosh software, you want to be checking out MacUpdate regularly.

By "PC" I think you mean "Windows," and at this point I have no idea who is tracking new and interesting Windows software at this point in time.
