LA - Eyeglasses lenses in an hour (or a day)?

Where in Los Angeles can I get eyeglasses lenses (a fairly difficult perscription, at that) in an hour, or a day?

Bought great frames at Old Focal's in Pasadena, but need lenses! ASAP! Thanks Meta!

Slightly off topic, but we (husband, sons and I) are wary of places that can "grind" lenses in such a fast time. They tend to have a wider tolerance for variation of the prescription. That said, we only go down to Melrose to L.A. Eyeworks. Go in, ask for Tarlon and tell her your situation. She is extremely nice person. If you aren't as concerned about things like this, than disregard.

Or, Ali at Complete Eye Care, Washington Place and Centinela. Love that place.

Ali is former Eyeworks too, now in her own family's business. The quality of my really-complicated scrips has never failed to impress.

Ask your optometrist (if he doesn't practice in an eyeglass shop of course). He/she should know who can do this and provide quality work.
