Disk Warrior 4 iBook to MacBook?
March 13, 2009 3:42 PM

Can I run Disk Warrior 4 from a G4 iBook on a MacBook via Firewire?

I have a G4 iBook, OS X 10.4.10. I routinely run Disk Warrior on it from a cloned hard drive backup. Can I clean a pal's MacBook if she has the same OS X by attaching the two computers via Firewire?
Details on how to appreciated.
TIA

I don't think that DiskWarrior does anything that's model specific, so I don't see any reason why not. Start the MacBook in Target Disk mode (hold letter T) and try it!

You do have a file backup of her drive right?

As I recall, DW does distinguish between Intel and PowerPC macs. Proceed carefully.
