Can I use the same Bluetooth keyboard on a Windows machine at work and a Mac at home?

I use a Windows XP box at work. I use a Powerbook G4 at home. I'd like to buy the bluetooth Apple Pro keyboard and use it both at home and at work. Is this possible? If so, any specific recommendations for a USB-bluetooth adapter for my work machine? Thanks in advance.

In my experience, no, you can't do that. I have a 12" powerbook with built in bluetooth, and an XP PC with a USB dongle. While attempting to pair the bluetooth Apple pro keyboard with the PC, XP hung several times. Basically, there is no PC support for the Apple keyboard. Which sucks.

I even spent quite a while trying to find 3rd party keyboards that would work on both PC and Mac (with the Apple internal bluetooth module). I didn't find anything. I don't quite know why this would be, but considering that Microsoft bluetooth products only play nice with MS bluetooth dongles, it's not entirely surprising.
