Whats up with Boingboing?

I figure there's a lot of intersection between MeFites and boingboing. I'm pretty sure Cory Doctorow is a MeFite as well. Boingboing isn't loading for me and when I ping it no packets are returned.

Boingboing still features very prominently on Federated Media's main page so I doubt they've taken it offline. I need my daily fix of the most wonderful things on the web and Metafilter just isn't enough so can someone please either tell me when boingboing will be back up or share wonderful things?

In future you might like to use downforeveryoneorjustme.com, to figure these things out, rather than waste your weekly allowance of AskMe.

BoingBoing often gets blocked by "nanny filters" that are used by airports, companies and people who love to censor stuff. It's possible you are behind one of these services.

It's loading but something definitely odd is going on there. Had to scroll half-way down the page before hitting the first steam-punk post.

Response by poster: Now I just have to figure out why boingboing has been censored. It loaded fine on Friday and I've been out of town since then.

Way late for the party here, but I'd just like to say that that downforeveryone site has been *worthless* to me in the past. False positives, false negatives, and much of the time it'll say that a given well-known site doesn't even exist on the web.

Also, it appears I'm not the only one who has found it lacking. Many of the reviews there are positive, but I'd bet they're coming from people who found it useful in theory only. Most of the people there who've tried it have said it doesn't work.
