Really cool freeware word games?

I'd like to find some very cool freeware downloadable - not online - word games that challenge, entertain and are fun - age group - adult. Nice graphics and maybe some music would be nice. Tried google-fu but that turned up a lot of confusion and really would like to try asking those that know about the genre here on meta.

Whoops. I got a bit confused myself. When I read "not online" I thought you meant "not played in a browser" as opposed to not online at all, which is what you meant. My bad.

I like this game Bookworm. I'm not sure how adult it is, though.

I really enjoy Text Twist, which has a free demo you can download to see if you like it first, give it a test run, and then buy. The full version is not free but cheap. I've also played the just-for-Mac version they have on gameclub cafe (which won't load for me right now?).
